Luckily, Connecticut has some great noodle bars that cook ramen and pho to perfection.

9 awesome restaurants for ramen & pho in CT

Tiger Belly – Granby

Tiger Belly in Granby is one of the most popular restaurants for ramen and pho in Connecticut.

Visitors of Tiger Belly rave about the Darkness Ramen and the Pho & Brisket is another fan favorite.

At Tiger Belly, you can also find some of the most delicious bao buns outside of New York City.

Address: 18 Mill Pond Drive, Granby, CT

Daddy’s Noodles – East Lyme

Daddy’s Noodle Bar in East Lyme is a small-ish ramen and pho restaurant that is very niche in its menu offerings.

What this Vietnamese restaurant lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality.

I recommend the Spicey Daddy for a ramen dish and the Pho with Rare Steak for those with a hankering for pho.

Address: 295 Flanders Road, East Lyme, CT

Kaliubon – West Hartford

Kaliubon in West Hartford has, hands-down, the best short rib ramen in CT. The meat is so tender and delicious and the greens and the broth are seasoned so well.

At Kaliubon, you can get bubble tea, delicious spring rolls, and a nice selection of bao buns.

Address: 1323 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT 06109

Ramen and Bao – Oxford

Ramen and Bao is a very popular ramen restaurant that’s located just west of New Haven.

Menya GumiĀ – New Haven

If you’re looking for gourmet-level ramen, you simply have to make the trip to New Haven for lunch or dinner at Menya Gumi.

The ramen options here include Shio Chintan and Tomato Yasai, to name a couple.

At Menya Gumi, the menu is fairly small, which means that the chefs have had the opportunity to perfect the ramen and rice bowls – and it comes out in each dish’s flavor.

Mecha Noodle Bar – New Haven, Fairfield

Mecha Noodle Bar has several locations throughout the state of Connecticut, however, New Haven and Fairfield are the most popular.
